After looking at a lot of my older work in some sketchbooks from years past I decided to try this soggy moonlit field again. I love the open fields and something about puddles shining in the moonlight has always fascinated me. This is loosely based on two places, one in South Georgia and one in Michigan. I left some of my drawn lines in this painting, painted it quickly and thinly wiping parts off with a rag. It came around quickly with only a few revisions, mostly because of the technique making it hard to dig back into.
