I have started looking at my early 1990's landscapes of night scenes from around Athens and am now starting to paint the night again. I have always found a mystery and a magic to the light in the night time. I am normally a morning person, my creative energy highest at the beginning of the day, but I have also been drawn to images of night. I may open up to views by moonlight but often end up painting them in my studio in the morning hours.
