I was in Greenbrier Cove, TN and started to wander off of the main creek flowing through. I like exploring the side creeks like this one, where the roaring of the water is substituted for calmer places. I love the big rocks, the rushing water and the power of the mountain creeks but I have become more and more interested in the smaller tributaries. This one had such a full, leafy canopy and some very smooth rocks. The water was slow and reflective and this small dam of leaves caught my eye. It was so bright and Fall colored in the midst of the green forest around it.
