I love to watch the light fading at the end of a day. The Winter light is particularly interesting to me because of its clarity. There is so much less humidity in the air and the light has a crisp look to it. Contrasts are sharp and colors seem more pure. As the light gets lower the color changes, first to a yellow then an orange tinge. Finally it begins to redden just before the sun sets completely. It's a very brief moment but it is well worth waiting for.
