The water of a full creek can be awesome, both noisy and powerful, while at the same time having peaceful eddies right next to the raging water. In places throughout Big Creek I stopped and took in the energy of the water. In this spot I liked the huge rush of water that poured through a narrow opening between the rocks with the cold, clear mountain water spinning lazily next the the churning bubbles of the cascade.
