Big Creek is an amazing place. Combine the huge boulders and the wild water with Fall colors and it gets spectacular. The sun shining through the forest canopy made spots of brilliant light here and there to set the stage for some wonderful views. I wanted to capture the light in this piece and to create a feeling of the size of the place. Mountainside towering overhead, rocks huge and water unstoppable.
