When you first get to Dukes Creek there is an old ford. The trail goes right down to the water and you can see it come back on the other side. I love these old roads that you just get a glimpse of here and there and this one seemed pretty obvious as far as road beds go. The creek is taking a gentle curve here and the light was coming from behind me showing pieces of the water and woods in bright spotlit sections.
