The Path In
The Path In

After recently reworking an older palette knife painting I kept thinking about the great things that come of using the knifes to work. There are so many accidents, for me at least, and so many uncontrollable things that make the process difficult but equally rewarding. While I worked on this little view of my trail, as seen from the studio window, I realized that I need to work with the palette knives every so often just to loosen myself up. They demand standing back often to see if things are working out, which I should be doing more with my other work.
