Summer light can have a glare all its own, and this spot always draws my attention in the late afternoons. This corner of the yard, looking into the next yard, gets a shaft of light burning in it that catches my eye. I've taken several pictures of it at various times and various angles, drawn it a few times, and am starting to think that this is just the first try at capturing the feeling. I think I will paint it again in another season, from another angle, or in different circumstances because I have started checking it at other times of day lately.
