Morning in Greenbrier Cove, NC is a marvelous time to explore the woods and rocks and water. With each new visit to Greenbrier I push farther into the place, finding new spots to amaze myself with. There are big rocks, fallen trees with water rushing past, and the sunlight pushing through to even some of the deeper and darker spots. This morning was just such a morning, with a shaft of morning sunlight driving through the trees and brightly showing off the scene. As soon as I turned around and saw this view I knew it was a painting.
