I like to see what rainfall brings to our little stream. It's fed by a spring so it is usually running but when we get a nice big rainfall then it can get pretty full. This is a spot where the water slows down a bit and deepens as it runs through some tighter spaces. It's just off the trail, and a reachable with a little effort through some old fallen trees. I feel like I kept changing the time of day or the quality of light on this, and settled on something that might appear to be two different light moments. This is intentional because the nature of the woods and deeper creek beds can give you that feeling, you are either down under the canopy and behind a hill or out in the more open space. This turned out to really capture the look of a spot in the darker area looking up into the light.
