Watching the light fade at the end of the day in my pasture is a wonderful thing to do. I can walk around and watch the shadows grow longer, find different angles to enjoy the show from. Or I can just catch a nice view of the sky which is a luxury when you live in the woods. This spot is where I placed two chairs so that Skipper and I can watch the sunset and twilight sky, or enjoy the clouds building as rain is making up. There are so many things to see here, from treetops being lit to the sky changing to the light on the pasture stretching. I painted this view a little differently, with a mind toward brush strokes being intentionally choppy and overt.
