This is a small study of rain coming in over a field that was a compilation of many different fields and many different rains. It just happened to be painted after being caught out in a rain and getting soaked on my way back to the house. Small format paintings are a good way to work through technique or effects, and I did a series of small pieces around this time made mostly from memories of events.
