There are so many different moods in the places in Greenbriar Cove, TN. Some are powerful as huge rocks and rushing water make for a sensory overload, and some are quiet with water as still as a mirror. This is one peaceful spot I am drawn to where the main creek runs past and leaves a small eddy where it looks as if water used to rush through. No doubt when the water is high this place gets moving but most times it is still and calm. The light was making small penetrations between the leaves in all of the woods and the water had rich colors in the reflections. There were strong rocks and still pools. A perfect spot for me to paint.
