I tromped along the trail at Dukes Creek Falls Park in the North Georgia mountains one bright morning and saw this cascade from above. I had to climb down quite a slope to get a better look at it but was glad I did. The falls had a wonderful reflection from the sunny white water but the rest of the scene was in a cool shade. The water at my feet didn't get my attention as much until I started looking through the photos I had taken when I was setting up to paint. The more I painted, the more the smaller ripples and currents caught my eye.
