The path I walk every day, usually at least twice a day, has so many different views to look at as it winds around my woods. There are places where you can exit the woods, come out of the cool and dark and into the brightness of my field, and this is one. During the afternoon of a particularly hot day, I saw this path as someplace I wanted to stay far away from. As I painted the view however it moved closer and closer to a more inviting path. The process of painting can be an unpredictable path of its own sometimes.
