On my morning drive to work I see this tree with its expressive limbs. The sun rises behind it and for a few moments I am driving straight toward it. I have noticed it in all kinds of weather, and in all the seasons, and considered painting it over and over. I finally took a shot at it this spring and feel like I might have to do more than one view of it eventually. Maybe drive into town, park, and find a spot across the street and really spend some time in front of it. But for now I have this, with the colors I enjoyed creating to fit the feel for that glance when I drive past it.
