This is an image of a glance I had while bicycling along the Missouri River, up into the woods above. The bluffs there are amazing and it was hard to decide when to stop and take a few pictures and when to just continue on. This was a place that I circled back to investigate, sometimes a glance is an amalgamation of several parts of view that your mind puts together and when you actually try to see it, it becomes impossible. But that also brings out the true magic of painting, you can combine the best parts that you see with the best ideas that those images conjure.
