The dark Michigan woods have always draw my attention. Hiking through the rolling dune hills of Ludington State Park with my sister can fill up my phone with pictures, my head with ideas. This little piece just sort of crept up on me and over a series of weeks built itself into a nice image of that feeling of being in the cool, shady woods. You can see all kinds of little passageways into the dunes behind the trees where you can see the bright sunlight glowing off of the sand.
