I saw these wonderful old farm road maples through the woods off the Kal-Haven Trail in Michigan as we biked past. I turned around to stop and get a better look, a few pictures, and a sketch. I just love these old trees and have wanted to paint them again after so many years. Three beautiful trees with a history behind them lost somewhere in the past.
