We have an amazing expanse of woods that we wander, it's full of steep hills and all kinds of ridges to follow, with winding creeks that lead down to the river. Being out there exploring and seeing the different seasons, different times of day, and different weather feels like it provides endless views. This is the backside of a rocky hill where we usually stop to rest along the trail, but this time I wandered off the path and got a view from behind it. No real focal point, just the feeling of the hill rising and the light scattered across it.
