On a recent trip to Canada to see the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and tour around Lake Huron, we stopped at a short trail just off the road that led to a wonderful set of falls. There was a nice flow to the creek and the curving cliffsides were amazing to see. After a very short hike the falls opened up ahead of us. The Niagara Escarpment creates so many falls in the Hamilton, Ontario area, and I feel like we just lucked into seeing this one on a drive. This is a pretty idealized view of it but really focuses on the way that the land folds and how much it seemed to tower over us.
